The first and second quarter of the Calendar Year 2017 is a big step-up for HAARRDEC in developing new strategies to administer and endorse RDE initiatives in the Region. The conduct of the Strategy Building and Planning Workshop attended by Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) was held to harmonize our Regional agenda, thus the development of 2017 – 2022 Science and Technology agenda that parallels to our Consortium’s 5-year Strategic Plan. One of the emphasis of the Strategic Plan is the development of Information, Education and Communication conduits, which was included in the endorsed proposals for the Science and Technology Action Frontline for Emergencies and Hazards Program of DOST-PCAARRD.
